Piloting tools with the learners

ed puzzleI decided to pilot two e learning tools with my Travel and Tourism students. One of the tools is called Ed Puzzle and enables teachers to insert quiz questions and other interactivities into any web-based video. When learners have watched the video, they receive immediate feedback on the multiple choice questions and the teacher can add written comments to their responses to short answer questions. As the videos can be accessed remotely by students I decided to use Ed Puzzle to create a resource for distance learning. Click below to hear about the resource I created about Scotland –

This is a student response system that allows teachers to create quizzes that can be set up by the teacher in class so that they are accessed by learners on PCs or any mobile device. Like Ed Puzzle it also generates useful data about the learners’ performance on the quiz. Click below to hear about the resource I created for a group of Level 3 learners using Socrative –
